Teacher’s report Portugal mobility
Last January, a group of students and teachers from our school went to Portugal to participate in the Erasmus project Art for inclusion’s sake together with other four countries: Turkey, Italy, Germany and Holland. We stayed there for one week and we really enjoyed the experience. We all worked together participating in different workshops, attending classes, visiting the country, learning about their culture, etc.
Everyday we met at the school entrance to start the day. We normally spent the morning working together and then, we used to go to the school canteen to have lunch. In the afternoons, apart from that, we also visited Bragaça, the small and beautiful village where we stayed and located on the northeast of Portugal. We never returned to our host families before 5, and we even had a couple of nights busy with other activities. On Wednesday, we spent the whole day on a trip to Porto. There, a tour guide showed us this amazing city.
Art for inclusion’s sake has given us the opportunity not only of travelling to a different country and meeting new friends, but also, practising our English in real life situations as it was our common language among all the different nationalities.
