TURKISH MEMORIES...
Dal 22 al 28 maggio si è svolto ad Istanbul l’ultimo incontro del progetto “Art for inclusion’ sake”.
Nel contesto di questa meravigliosa città, abbiamo svolto diverse attività inclusive.
I nostri alunni sono stati ospitati da alcune famiglie turche che hanno permesso loro di toccare con mano una cultura tanto diversa dalla nostra.
Tra le varie attività svolte, orientate alla valorizzazione della diversità culturale, possiamo evidenziare quella sui proverbi: partendo da un proverbio inglese ogni alunno si è divertito a cercare un proverbio con lo stesso significato nella propria lingua. Un’altra attività artistica interessante è stata quella riguardante “accessibility signs”, in cui gli studenti hanno disegnato, reinterpretandoli in maniera personale i segnali di indicazione per disabili.
Un’attività veramente originale ha riguardato la comunicazione gestuale: un gesto può trasmettere un significato diverso secondo il paese in cui viene usato.
Gli alunni si sono divertiti a “scovare” dei gesti meno comuni nelle varie culture stimolando così la comprensione interculturale e la conoscenza.
L’aspetto artistico è stato affrontato in modo informale con i partecipanti turchi che hanno insegnato canti e balli tradizionali e non in vari momenti della settimana. Il risultato è stato sorprendente: ragazzi e ragazze liberi di esprimersi con canti e balli a scuola, nelle strade e persino sul battello!

My name is Ercan Altas from Tuna Anatolian High School, Turkey. I wanna write about the programme in Netherlands.
First of all, I wanna thank to host country, especially Regina. She was so kind, helpful and directed the programme well. I also thank to another teachers and students that behaved well to me and my students from Certesius School.
And also the other partners from different countries. We did all activities what written in the programme except amnesty. We had to canceled it. We had a nice time while we were implementing the Project. I never got bored.
Activities were good and were done well by the partners from other countries. We, I and my students, had a pleasure time when we were with host partners and the other partners. Amsterdam is really wonderful place to do, to hang around, to shopping and so on.
We visited many places that belongs to different beliefs by implementing some activities took place in the programme. We had river tour.
In sum, everything was nice and we iplemented Project.
